Al Benson

Al has worked in all type of venue from pubs and clubs to hotels and theatres. He has also worked on tours with the likes of Chas n Dave, Peters and Lee and The Drifters. There is therefore a strong musical element to Al Benson and his cabaret spot can certainly include singing and playing ukelele.

Al is particularly good at adapting his humour to the audience - he can be clean, very saucy or something between the two! Al has a wealth of comedy material from one-liners and topical gags and he thrives on being able to make people laugh. Hecklers are not a problem for Al who, with his great ad libs, will turn a heckle into an opportunity for added humour! If it’s laughter you’re after, Al’s your man!

John Cassidy

John has performed to hundreds of audiences both in the UK and abroad - with a wealth of experience every performance is tailored to the environment and audience.

This act has a unique difference; the use of a digital device connected to a customised microphone allows John to instantly call up effects that lower or raise the pitch of his voice. Suddenly you are in the presence of Frank Bruno, or a nagging wife. When someone in the audience is asked their name, as they speak into the mike they are "captured". The unsuspecting "victim" may then find themselves featuring in the gags, all captured and released by switches built into John's mic.

John has worked alongside many celebrity speakers, including George Best, Raymond Baxter, Dickie Bird, Henry Cooper , John Conteh, Tommy Docherty, Emlyn Hughes, Geoff Hurst, Freddy Truman, Nobby Styles, Frank Worthington - the list goes on. From Sportman’s Dinners to Ladies Nights and Masonic Functions, Golfing events, Cabaret, Cruising, film and television and After Dinner Entertainment, John has done it all and is one of the best around. If you want comedy at it’s best look no further than John Cassidy!
